WHERE THE POSITION IS LOCATED:

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:

  • DevOps CI Tools (Gitlab, Jenkins, Artifactory): 3 - 5 years (Preferred)
  • System Administration: 3 - 5 years (Preferred)
  • Programming/Scripting: 3 - 5 years (Preferred)
  • Ansible: 1-2 years (Preferred)
  • Docker: 1-2 year (Preferred)
  • Strong/Hands-on knowledge of CI Tools administration (must Gitlab, Jenkins, artifactory)
  • Significant experience with Linux systems administration and host security hardening technologies
  • Working knowledge of task automation and configuration management (using Ansible or similar) • Proficiency with various programming languages: Unix shell, Python, Groovy/Java, etc.
  • Good understanding and background on supporting CI tool chain in entire SDLC (Dev/Test/PROD and DR) environment
  • Strong understanding of virtualization and container technologies: Docker etc.
  • Experience with open source cloud technologies: OpenStack and Kubernetes preferred.
  • Solid understanding of Storage (SAN/NAS/NFS) and networking technologies (F5, load balancing, GTM)
  • Experience with OS level Performance monitoring, tuning and capacity analysis
  • Familiarity with Git or other modern version control systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid interpersonal skills
  • The resource may have to work on weekend or after hours and act as next level of escalation for troubleshooting and resolving any CRITAL/PROD issues
  • Highly professional (must have)
  • Must be a self-starter, capable of driving to an outcome/resolution
  • Familiar with scrum/Kanban
  • Produce clear, understandable, and audience focused documentation
