WHERE THIS POSITION IS LOCATED:

  • Cambridge, MA

WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:

  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts and Reviewers to gather understanding of SOP content as well as gather feedback and comments to incorporate into document revisions
  • Standardize content and templates across the organization
  • Plan, develop, organize, write and revise SOPs
  • Analyze documents to maintain continuity of writing style
  • Use diagrams, process maps to increase ease of use
  • Ensure documents contain accurate details and instructions corresponding to the process, task and/or activity
  • Ensure that SOP content adheres to all relevant regulatory requirements
  • Report and escalate to SOP Debulking Project Lead as needed

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:

  • BA/BS Degree required. (Advanced degree a plus)
  • The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in technical writing in the Life Sciences Industry and demonstrated working with cross functional teams
  • Experience with the document management systems in regulated environments (such as Clinical, Manufacturing)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Able to write in explanatory and procedural styles for multiple audiences
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking
  • Excellent working knowledge of MS Office applications: MS PowerPoint, Excel and Word required.
