• Performs the role of technical lead in the design, development, implementation and maintenance of small to moderately complex IT systems.
• Participates in the identification of options for potential solutions and assesses them for technical and business suitability.
• Interacts with IT, business and vendor partners to determine business requirements and analyzes the feasibility of developing solutions to meet current business needs.
• Analyzes and revises existing system logic and documentation as necessary.
• Participates in technical and resource requirement estimates.
• Engages and communicates in open discussion of ideas, opinions, concerns and solutions.
• Clearly documents and communicates objectives, requirements and designs at different levels of abstraction to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Promotes and follows Delhaize’s software development methodologies, and security and architecture standards.
• Modifies existing procedures or processes in order to increase efficiencies or quality.

• Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 years combined IT systems analysis/programming experience.
• Solid knowledge of IT theories, methodologies, practices and procedures.
• Demonstrated analytical business sense and ability to work on moderately complex assignments.
• Technical and business knowledge in software development, quality assurance, project management and other related disciplines/processes.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field.
• Experience in a Retail environment.
• Familiarity with complex public facing web systems and/or ecommerce
