WHERE THIS POSITION IS LOCATED:

  • Frisco, TX

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Install, modify, remove and analyze infrastructure hardware and software on the Company’s computer systems.
  • Analyze server infrastructure related issues in a timely manner and escalate when needed.
  • Perform OS server version upgrades and patching.
  • Manage security (access control, permissions) for shares.
  • Troubleshoot Active Directory issues and escalate appropriately Participate in monthly maintenance windows.
  • Participate in a monthly on-call rotation.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation.
  • Attend and actively participate in weekly meetings.
  • Knowledge of server hardware and components.
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Prioritize work load and consistently meet deadlines.

HOW YOU ARE QUALIFIED:

  • VMWare Administration.
  • Linux Administration (SUSE).
  • Experience with VMWare 6.0 and 5.5 administration tasks.
  • Experience with SUSE LINUX.
  • Basic knowledge of Active Directory and its components (WINS, DNS, DHCP).
