WHAT YOU WILL DO:
The Supervisor will be capable of preparing financial reports, in an international and dynamic environment, for our clients who consist of investment managers and institutional investors within those Hedge Funds as well as manage a group of Hedge Fund Accountants and provide training and coaching to their staff.

• Solid understanding of Aexeo Back office and Front office Modules, Investor Relation systems (NTAS/HedgeTek)
• Excellent knowledge of Excel, Macro financials including control financials
• Solid understanding of financial instruments, GAAP accounting and reporting, different fund structures and current trends and developments affecting Hedge Fund Industry
• Solid understanding of corporate action processing, new fund set ups
• Active involvement in special projects, conversions, ad hoc requests from clients
• Review work to ensure reasonability of all matters affecting the NAV, allocation schedules, classification of assets and liabilities, and capital transactions
• Ensures that proper documentation including NAV binder in compliance with SAS 70 is maintained
• Coaches team members to ensure that they are developing skills for advancement to next level
• Takes lead on Audit engagements including preparing full set of financial statements including supporting schedules such as unrealized/cost roll forwards
• Review the calculation of hedge fund specific expenses (e.g. management fees, incentive fees,Company fees)
• Assists manager in meeting client expectation by monitoring timely delivery of daily, weekly and monthly deliverables
• Review accounting work and reconciliation packages prepared by staff
• Effective oral and written communication. Ability to engage meetings/calls with clients/counter parts in other groups
• Ability to articulate issues and research/identify innovative solutions
• Demonstrate ability to adapt when unusual situation arises such as staff turnover, system issues etc.
• Motivate team members by providing annual goals, providing challenging environment and provide informal and formal feedback in form of performance assessment

HOW YOU ARE QUALIFIED:
• BA in accounting, finance, economics or professional accounting designation (CFA, CGA, CMA, CA, CPA) a MUST
• A minimum of 3-5 years of working experience in the financial services industry, specifically hedge funds or mutual funds
• A team player, able to cope with individual responsibilities
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Highly proficient with MS Excel and Word
• Experience managing and training staff
• Demonstrated ability to work in changing, fast-paced work environment. Ability to prioritize and multi-task a must
