WHERE THIS POSITION IS LOCATED:

  • Make moderately complex modifications to existing software to fit specialized needs and configurations
  • Design and develop moderately complex programs to fit specialized needs and configurations
  • Confer with systems analysts, engineers, programmers and others to design system, to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces
  • Maintains program libraries and technical documentation
  • Assist in planning, scheduling and implementation
  • Consult with users concerning maintenance of the software system
  • Consult with business analysts, project managers and other stake holders in the development of new software
  • Participate in special projects and performs other duties as requested

HOW YOU ARE QUALIFIED: 

  • Strong hands-on experience using SQL/.NET
  • Bachelor's degree in computer engineering or computer science or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Requires two years of experience working on large and complex business systems.
  • Knowledge of insurance industry is a plus
  • Experience maintaining and developing large, complex systems
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Must be proactive, self-motivated and able to work well under pressure
