WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Lead team on large and complex projects --from institution to individual
  • Responsible for performance, cost, scope, schedule, quality, and appropriate business measurements for their project / segment
  • Develop relationships and build trust with project stakeholders and executive management
  • Educate project stakeholders and executive management on project milestones
  • Manage project scope and conduct scope management conversations with project stakeholders
  • Execute risk assessment and deal with risks and impacts to timeline/cost
  • Work independently and navigate the organization appropriately
  • Identify, manage, and address interdependencies within a program
  • Track program benefits and realization
  • Conduct analysis, project management and business readiness activities

HOW YOU ARE QUALIFIED:

  • 5-10 years of experience
  • Financial services experience is a must
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Must have experience managing business projects and not just IT projects
  • Able to work independently and demonstrate urgency in a fast paced environment
  • Take initiative and flexible to adapt to changing priorities
  • Understands business and is able to apply basic business concepts
  • Excellent interpersonal relationships/relationship management and consultative skills to interface with senior leaders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Agile/Waterfall experience
  • Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills; able to create PowerPoint decks for senior management
  • Able to perform the strategic and execution components of project management
  • Must have excellent analytical, problem solving, time management and organizational skills
