WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Add/Update vendor master information accurately and on time
  • Process vendor invoices and P-card transactions accurately and on time
  • Make payments and apply discounts within the effective terms
  • Resolve vendor queries effectively
  • Issue 1099 tax forms annually
  • Coordination of month-end closing activities
  • Review/Approve AP-related accounts general ledger analysis and/or reconciliations
  • Maintain US GAAP compliance standards with all financial treatment on accounts payable entries
  • Prepare external and financial reports to support management
  • Maintain appropriate accounting policies and procedures
  • Implementation of appropriate accounting policies and procedures
  • Support external auditors including, but not limited to, SEC reporting and SOX 404 monitoring
  • Monitor/Measure performance based off of SLAs and targets
  • Monitor workflow performance to maximize efficiency
  • Effectively optimize improvements for process as well as capital and operational savings
  • Preserve the integrity of the financial information and internal controls while helping plan the Company’s strategic path
  • Able to provide skills development, mentoring, and support to staff
  • Non-specified projects and duties assigned in response to changing requirements and/or conditions

HOW YOU ARE QUALIFIED:

  • Required five years of process management/team leadership experience in PTP-Payables, or any similar fields
  • Required experience with Oracle PeopleSoft and/or similar ERP systems
  • Required experience/knowledge of PTP-Payables transactions, invoicing, and payment processing
  • Required experience with all Microsoft Office programs
  • Must be able to demonstrate excellent problem resolutions skills with the ability to resolve disputes and maintain relationships.
  • Must be able to demonstrate the ability to adjust and handle priorities across multiple projects simultaneously
  • Must be able to demonstrate a high quality work ethic with adequate reasoning, organizational, and analytical skills. 
  • Preferred CPA License
  • Preferred Big 4 Public Accounting experience
  • Preferred expertise with outsourced service providers
  • Preferred expertise in the retail franchise industry
