WHERE THE POSITION IS LOCATED:

  • Charlotte, NC

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Lead efforts with Production Support and Development teams to build, maintain, and distribute daily/weekly/monthly reporting using Excel, MS PowerPoint, Tableau and/or OBIE
  • Ensure accuracy of data produced from Service Now and presented to Senior Management
  • Develop comprehensive analytical reports for the Clients Communications platform
  • Consolidate, manipulate and present large volumes of data for executive presentation
  • Consult with area/department leads to analyze current operational procedures and identify trends
  • Recommend controls to improve efficiency and accuracy of existing processes
  • Track key action items and deliverables associated with governance, metrics, and business management agenda
  • Analyze requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or to improve existing business systems
  • Proactively monitor, research and troubleshoot with data partners independently as needed

HOW YOU ARE QUALIFIED:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Sr. Business Analyst, ideally in a Production Support/Operations environment
  • 3 years of experience extrapolating data from ITSM tool such as Service Now
  • 3 years of experience with Excel (pivot tables etc. ) and SQL
  • Fundamental understanding of ITIL, Incident, Problem and Change Management functions
  • Experience with Business Objects, Tableau, and/or SQL
  • Experience with forecasting, metrics, reporting, and productivity tracking
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills in both written and oral form
  • Experience with process and workflow modeling and business process engineering
  • Must be able to design business reporting and analysis that is clear, concise, and actionable
  • Must be able to identify trends and draw, then communicate, conclusions from data
