WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:

  • Management and oversight of a multi-billion Fixed Assets general ledger and all financial reporting related to Capex & Fixed Assets
  • Oversee the management and depreciation of all transactions in compliance with GAAP and Company fixed asset policies
  • Approve the reconciliations to the general ledger
  • Calculation of depreciation, execution of transfers and disposals within the fixed asset system
  • Provide regular reporting for budget reviews and forecast updates
  • Handle all fixed asset system audit requests from internal and external auditors
  • Preparation of fixed asset schedules for all entities on a monthly basis
  • Periodic analysis of depreciation expense and useful lives
  • Develop and implement process and policy improvements relating to the fixed asset process

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting & Finance required
  • Master's Degree preferred
  • CPA preferred
  • 8+ years of Fixed Asset Accounting experience
  • Public Accounting experience preferred
  • Proven track record of success leading and developing teams
  • Previous experience in lease accounting, sales and use tax, property tax
  • Deadline oriented and strong attention to detail
  • Executive level written and oral communication capabilities
