WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:

  • Prepares high level analysis of monthly preliminary operating results by division compared to forecast, budget and prior year for upper management
  • Reviews financial statements uploaded into Hyperion Financial Management by divisions on a monthly basis and consolidates results
  • Reviews monthly cash flow calculations submitted by the divisions, consolidates the cash flows and provides results to the Financial Planning &Analysis group
  • Prepares consolidated quarterly and annual financial statement reports and debt covenant calculations for internal and external distribution, including coordinating with divisions and with Treasury
  • Coordinates with external auditors regarding quarterly and annual audited financial statements
  • Creates, modifies and maintains Hyperion Financial Report Studio report layouts
  • Assists with technical accounting research and special projects as needed

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:

  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 2-3 years accounting experience in public accounting and/or financial reporting preferred with a strong knowledge of current U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
  • Big 4 public accounting experience preferred
  • Active CPA license preferred
