WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT: 

  • This position will be involved with the monthly close process including balance sheet account reconciliations
  • Responsible for the preparation of internal reports and inventory analysis
  • Ad hoc projects will be assigned that provide exposure to all aspects of the Finance department. 

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:

  • College degree (4 year) BS in Accounting; Masters in Accounting a strong plus.
  • 3-5 years of Public accounting experience from large firm
  • Minimum 3 year experience in industry, preferably a manufacturing environment with inventory and cost accounting experience
  • Knowledge of Accounting systems and principles
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with an integrated ERP required
  • Microsoft Access skills preferred
  • Percentage-of-completion accounting experience preferred
  • Cost Accounting
  • CPA a positive
