WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT

  • General closing responsibilities with validation of balance sheet accounts, including monthly reconciliations
  • Preparation of standard reports (weekly/monthly) including forecasts and variance analysis for company packages
  • Document and account for project estimates in coordination with operations
  • Recording of journal entries
  • Maintain fixed assets and record depreciation
  • Provide year end audit support
  • Assist with inventory physical observations
  • Assist with documenting and improving internal control processes

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Master’s Degree in Accounting and CPA a plus
  • 3-5 years of Public accounting experience from large firm or
  • Minimum 3 year experience in industry, preferably a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of Accounting systems and principles
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with an integrated ERP required
  • Microsoft Access skills a plus
