WHERE THE POSITION IS LOCATED:

  • Charlotte, NC

WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:

  • Facilitate Agile Ceremonies: Backlog Refinement, Daily Scrums, Sprint Planning sessions and Retrospectives.
  • Work with Product Owner to establish and maintain Product/Story Roadmaps.
  • Facilitate team collaboration and impediments identification, prioritization and resolution.
  • Maintain and utilize Focus Factor Models in Release and Sprint Planning.
  • Drive continuous and consistent process improvement culture, providing and analyzing current and historical metrics.
  • Drive maturity curve of agile adoption, partially based on company specific guidance the rest based on industry norms and emerging trends.
  • Provide training by example to team members, working to normalize the agile maturity of team members and building role generalists.

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:

  • 3-5 years as a Senior Scrum Master.
  • Required Certifications: PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM or PSM, A Plus: CSPO or PSPO
  • Experience with Rational Suite, OR Jira\Confluence
  • Experience with Scrum, Scrum-ban, Kanban and XP Agile Framework Models a must, SAFe experience a plus.
  • Financial Services experience a must, Financial Planning/Retirement, Wealth Management, Advisory Services experiences preferable.
  • Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and analytical skills
  • Excellent spoken and written communication as well as receptive listening skills, with ability to present complex business ideas in a clear, concise fashion.
  • Outstanding organizational, communication, interpersonal, relationship building skills conducive to team development.
  • Good relationship-building skills; ability to grow and nurture relationships with stakeholders
  • High energy and passion for the job
  • Ability to adapt, to be flexible, and to learn quickly in a dynamic environment.
