WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT

  • Lead the design of solutions for large projects and programs, and through expert knowledge translate high-level business requirements into platform guidelines, designs, and end solutions
  • Direct specialist teams to undertake the delivery of epics, stories, and bugs
  • Manage senior business stakeholders to secure strong engagement for the solution and ensure that the delivery of the project aligns to longer-term strategic roadmaps
  • Work closely with external suppliers to ensure solution makes best use of technology and meets requirements
  • Simplify the existing architecture, delivering reusable services and cost saving opportunities in line with the policies and standards of the group
  • Ensure that all solutions are complete, operable, conform to business processes, and meet the business needs with the agreed quality of service
  • Provide mentoring and coaching for developers, admins, and all team members engaged on initiatives
  • Ensure the end-to-end solution is fit for purpose, meet the needs of business, the agreed requirements, and are both pragmatic and supportive of the strategic architecture direction
  • Identify and communicate appropriate resource requirements and work breakdown structure based on skills profile and best fit to complete the end-to-end solution design, and work with the project manager to ensure that project plans and finances align with the design
  • Participate from time to time in the supplier selection process, evaluating usefulness and cost of products and making appropriate recommendations
  • Oversee end-to-end data life cycle management activities
  • Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies for data management, storage and analytics

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field
  • 5 years of experience working in the Field Service domain/function
  • Min 5 years of implementation experience with Salesforce
  • Min 3 years of experience with ServiceMax implementation using technologies as MuleSoft
  • Proven experience implementing mobile application ServiceMax FSA and/or ServiceMax Go
  • Preferred experience or experience with PHP, REACT, JSON, XML, REST, SOAP, & FTP
  • Preferred knowledge of SQL relational databases (MySQL, MSSQL)
