WHERE THIS POSITION IS LOCATED:

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Work in collaboration with NCC Media to support cable television sales for political campaigns
  • Communicate with NCC Political Sales teams on a daily basis to ensure that advertising schedules run as ordered and identify and communicate order execution issues (rates, dayparts, inventory clearance) as they arise
  • Manage communication between cross-functional groups (Pricing, Traffic, Operations, etc.) and act as a liaison between company and NCC
  • Support national sales teams in regards to order entry, order stewardship, internal reporting and other requests as needed
  • Partner with NCC’s Competitive team and assist with competitive spending requests and inquires on the national and Local level
  • Work closely with NCC’s Traffic team and help facilitate traffic instructions, spot delivery confirmations and other Master Control issues
  • Stay current with political press and news that impacts sales footprint – Cook Report, Politico, National Journal, etc.

HOW YOU ARE QUALIFIED:

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university preferred, or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload based on sales team’s needs and internal deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication with internal and external customers on a daily basis
  • Detail-oriented, eager to learn and excellent problem solving skills
