THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY

  • Focused on application delivery in an Agile/ SCRUM environment
  • On prem moved to cloud provider – applications with Microsoft customizations- hosted internally
  • Develop, define and execute project plans, project scope, work activities, schedules, budgets and project deliverables with clearly defined milestones, resources/budget requirement.
  • Deliver projects on time and within the agreed scope and budget to the satisfaction of the sponsor.
  • Manage project cost and project quality.
  • Ensure changes associated with project deliverables take place in a controlled and auditable manner and align with company's Secure by Design initiative.
  • Identify and manage project risks and issues.
  • Manage project resources, procurement of resources (hardware, software, people), change management, training and communications plans.
  • Publish regular status reports for projects.
  • Conduct Project Close Activities to formalize and communicate the project acceptance - Lessons Learned, Project Surveys, and Handover documentation.
  • Lead by example for other Project Managers and develops positive team culture.
  • Work independently with only minimal supervision required using judgment, experience and leadership skills.
  • Deliver projects with adherence to the IT Project Framework, including tailoring of the project approach to the level appropriate to the size and risk of the project.
  • Actively contribute to the IT Project Management Community of Practice.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of project artifacts to ensure a healthy IT Project Pipeline.
  • Respond to ad-hoc project-related enquiries and ensures all formal documentation is provided efficiently.
  • Operate in alignment with established company policies, ITIL framework and cybersecurity guidelines.

BACKGROUND PROFILE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Computer Science or equivalent experience/discipline combined with a demonstrable expert level of role knowledge
  • Demonstrable project management experience essential with minimum 8+ years’ experience
  • A good understanding of recognized project frameworks (e.g. the PMI PMBOK® or PRINCE2) is expected
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, Visio, SharePoint and OneNote). Proficient with a portfolio management solution, such as the ServiceNow Project Portfolio Management (PPM) platform
  • Able to demonstrate previous experience of delivering multi-faceted IT application projects in an international and dynamic environment
