  • Lead the strategic sourcing activity related to IT products and services; sourcing responsibility will focus primarily around software and SaaS agreements
  • Monitor latest commodity market trends to ensure fundamental understanding of industry pricing trends
  • Deeply understand IT vendors and their capabilities, and use this understanding to negotiate effectively to achieve greatest value
  • Develop, implement and manage contracts with suppliers, inclusive of redlining IT contracts and reviewing end user license agreements
  • Support the implementation and continued advocating of a strong supplier management process to ensure good supplier relations and strong SLAs with suppliers with a focus on service quality and reliability, responsiveness, service delivery and cycle time improvement
  • Close coordination with IT Strategic Sourcing team
  • Close coordination with the IT Vendor Management team
  • Investigate opportunities for consolidation, synergies and rationalization of other legacy IT suppliers/systems
  • Achieve efficiency improvements across the range of functionality
  • Achieve cost reduction targets across the range of functionality
  • Run e-auctions across the commodity base when applicable
  • Ensure compliance to corporate policies and procedures with suppliers
  • Participate in on-going development and implementation of world-class procurement practices and procedures
  • Manage the strategic procurement activities for IT services and products
  • Significant interactions with GSM, IT and Legal leadership on global scale


  • Bachelor's degree required with a minimum of 5 years related experience; the hiring manager will also entertain Associate's degree with a minimum of 7-10 years of related experience
