WHERE THIS POSITION IS LOCATED:

  • Painted Post, NY

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Execute experimental plans for division engineering within the Celpro lab 
  • Operate batching, mixing, extruding, drying, and rheological measurement equipment 
  • Make detailed observations during experimentation 
  • Equipment and process troubleshooting 
  • Data reporting and data analysis 
  • Support of lab maintenance of business activities such as safety, 5s, & supply management 
  • Participate on projects to support laboratory improvements 

HOW YOU ARE QUALIFIED:

  • AS or AAS in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics field 
  • 0-5 years of process technician, manufacturing or raw material processing experience 
  • Basic proficiency in MS office software including Excel, Word & Power Point 
  • Good verbal and written communication skills 
  • Able to be respirator certified for special material handling situations 
  • Able to physically perform all lab tasks which require bending, reaching, standing for extended periods, and occasionally lifting up to 40 pounds 
  • Basic data analysis skills
  • Technical writing experience (SOP’s, work instructions, safety documents, technical reports) desired
  • Statistical software proficiency (SPC Excel, Minitab, JMP) desired
  • Familiarity with DMAIC, KT, Lean, and/or 5S desired
