WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:

  • Under the direction of the Talent Acquisition Team Lead, the Pre-employment Coordinator will complete administrative functions relating to pre-employment screening and on-boarding process while adhering to corporate policies and legal requirements.
  • Reviews and interprets drug screens and background checks.
  • Applies corporate guidelines to results for acceptance or denial of employment.   
  • Secures required documentation from job candidates through text, emails and phone calls to complete background check process.     
  • Communicates with talent acquisition team lead regarding status or problems with drug screens and/or background checks.
  • Makes photocopies; mails, scans and emails documents; and performs other clerical functions.       
  • Assists or prepares correspondence

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:

  • Completed High School (Diploma or GED)
  • Detail Oriented
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in fast-paced, dynamic environment •        
  • Effective organizational and time management skills •        
  • Ability to learn vendor software for ordering drug screening criminal background checks
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information •        
  • Strong customer service skills including verbal and written communication skills (phone & in person)      
  • Proficiency with computer platforms and applications (Excel, Word, etc.)
