WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Assist in complex network designs and configuration projects in association with cutting-edge network platforms.
  • Plan network installation and/or upgrade projects, assign milestone tasks to support personnel and meet company deadlines for full implementation, including network and user station set-ups and permissions, installation of all software and end-user security.
  • Meet with the IT leadership to discuss internal and external data communication networks whenever there is a need for new systems or additional technological support.
  • Design organizational network security infrastructure and monitor its implementation.
  • Research and examine new system advancements and present recommendations for upgrading existing infrastructure.
  • Arrange and install network hardware and software.
  • Screen network performance and plan functional networks.
  • Work to implement network security measures.

HOW YOU ARE QUALIFIED:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, related area and 3+ years of industry-related experience.
  • Strong foundation in organizational management and engineering.
  • Understanding of protocols such as TCP/IP, SMTP, SSL, FTP
  • Familiarity with control models and system security.
  • Strong comprehension of system working frameworks (Cisco IOS, HPE, Aruba, Fortinet, Barracuda, F5 and other leading industry technology)
  • Sharp investigating facilities
  • Capacity to work independently
  • Knowledge of backup solutions and disaster recovery.
  • Extensive knowledge of common networking technologies and devices including LAN, WAN, Routers, switches, DNS and DHCP.
  • Knowledge of server and computer networks; VoIP telephone systems, SharePoint, MS Exchange, MS SQL, VMWARE Sphere 5 and up , Active Directory
  • Azure experience is preferred
  • Must be willing to be part of a team that operates on an on-call basis.
