WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Direct leadership responsibility for Scheduling Team and Purchasing Team.
  • Lead, oversee, and improve the scheduling processes.
  • Lead, oversee, and improve the buying/planning processes.
  • Lead the network optimization strategy for sectional organization
  • Project Lead for Oracle ERP Implementation
  • Implement and optimize use of Shop Floor Scheduling tool
    • Expand capabilities to scan to truck
  • Develop team skills and capabilities
  • Improve activation of schedules to optimize productivity and minimize costs
  • Participate in establishing improved materials controls within the facility
  • Develop the teams skills and capabilities
  • Build process to standardize and improve planning to reduce materials outages
  • Work directly with all sectional facilities and supply chain to implement
  • Extend beyond planning to regional implementation leadership with local leaders
  • Responsible for the configuration of resource planning system(s) for manufacturing, purchasing, and reporting requirements.
  • Maintains optimum inventory levels to ensure on-time deliveries to meet customer requirements while minimizing carrying costs and freight charges.
  • Investigates and resolves problems resulting from material shortages.
  • Works with other departments to establish production and quality control standards to obtain data regarding types, quantities, specifications and delivery dates of products ordered.

WHERE THIS POSITION IS LOCATED:
South Canton Area

HOW YOU ARE QUALIFIED:

  • BS in Engineering or related field
  • 8+ years of related inventory control experience.
  • ERP Systems and Implementation
  • Working knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles preferred.
