WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Utilize consultative and strategic selling principles to directly sell automated material handling systems.
  • Review Customer RFP’s, surveys, and economic justifications.
  • Identify, influence and define the clients buying criteria
  • Compile and analyze customer data to identify sales opportunities. Evaluate customer needs; identify and facilitate the best solution. Negotiate initial scope of work with customer. 
  • Document sales activities, create appropriate trip reports, lost sale reports and assist in creating strategies for systems and/or modernization projects.
  • Visit key Customer accounts to maintain existing Customer base and expand new customer base – Evaluate and recommend new business to company management.
  • Become actively involved in key account negotiations and critical commercial situations in the region.
  • Prepare sales forecast, sales activity reports, market analysis and market share information, competitive and industry trends, and monthly reports.
  • Assist in Marketing Communications by participating in trade shows, presentations, and participation in technical seminars and associations, and recommends new sales aids or changes.

HOW YOU ARE QUALIFIED:

  • Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience selling related material handling systems (AS/RS, AGVs, floor or ceiling mounted monorail systems and conveyor systems)
  • Demonstrated management experience
  • Strong analytical ability in marketing and management
  • Strong business acumen and technical aptitude
  • Proficient in MS applications and CRM tools
  • Travel up to 50% (domestic and international)
