WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Responsible to develop and implement optimal, cost-effective manufacturing processes and methods in accordance with the product specifications and quality standards for new and revised manufacturing launches.
  • Performs research, design and development of manufacturing processes including production flow, assembly methods and production equipment.
  • Prepares and maintains detailed layouts of buildings and equipment.
  • Coordinates the manufacturing launch of new/revised products including establishing goals, training team members and evaluating results.
  • Designs, develops and tests and/or sources cost-justified various tools, machinery and equipment for recommended manufacturing methods.
  • Performs product process analysis for VAVE, quality improvement, and improved efficiency.
  • Represents manufacturing on cross-functional teams.

HOW YOU ARE QUALIFIED:

  • B.S.M.E. or 2 year degree with significant relevant experience.
  • Plastics (PTFE) processing experience a plus.
  • Metals fabrication experience a plus.
  • Unimpeachable ethics.
  • Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing techniques
  • Planning: works detailed action plans with adherence to deliverable dates.
  • Management: the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
  • Technical skills in manufacturing process and methods including flow, layout, assembly and production equipment.
  • Quality orientation and attention to detail.
  • Problem analysis and problem resolution.
