Job purpose

This position is responsible for developing, and implementing processes, procedures and systems that will ensure effective data cleansing activities.  The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise, a sophisticated analytic approach and knowledge of data quality, extraction and reporting tools.  Responsible for overseeing all quality assurance efforts within the Data Integrity department, including the development and implementation of a quality assurance program.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Staff Management
    • Staff performance reviews
    • MBO’s & IDP’s
  • Metrics Reporting (Error & Efficiency)
    • Running of data (daily)
    • Previous week productivity & payroll tracking
    • Total data department hours & error metrics update
    • Monthly reporting – consolidating, validating, publishing
  • Ensure all billing reviews are completed
  • Review/monitor billing review error metrics (errors found during review process)
    • Analyze error history for system & automation opportunities
  • Review/monitor audit report activity
    • Ensure all reports have been reviewed
  • Review/monitor disputes activity
    • Create dispute file
    • Consolidate, summarize and report out on disputes activity review monthly
  • Review/monitor “check work”
    • Ensure process is properly documented
    • Ensure each week is completed fully and timely
  • Distribution of new business information
    • Ensure all staff is aware of changes that impact their daily work
  • Ensure department goals are being met
  • Ensure department/team SOPs are current
  • Assist with general cleansing as time allows

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Experience with implementation of corrective action programs
  • Product or industry-specific knowledge preferred
  • Knowledge of tools, concepts and methodologies of Quality Assurance
  • Experienced in data processing, data quality standards, data validation, data preparation and reconciliation
  • Strong problem -solving skills with an ability to balance the risk and reward trade-offs
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and organization skills with an ability to effectively execute tactical plans
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and database
