  • Conduct pre, during, post repair inspections on chassis for approval and quality control purposes while ensuring vendors adhere to repair policy and procedures at multiple locations.
  • Track, reduce, and control maintenance and repair costs by monitoring repair quality, tariff task times and overall mechanic efficiencies while ensuring safety and service levels are not compromised.
  • Monitor and control allowable OOS equipment levels per service agreements.
  • Maintain open communication with operational departments to coordinate inventory levels and equipment requirements.
  • Review and reconcile daily work order submissions entered into our maintenance and repair support systems.
  • Monitor and release any DVER/DVIR inspections at specific locations as directed
  • Coordinate on/off-hire criteria requirements for chassis leases as directed.
  • Support, track, and carry out various initiatives such as the scrap program and license plate installation programs.
  • Observe and comply with OSHA and terminal safety policies and procedures.


  • Two years of experience and knowledge in chassis or trailer maintenance and repair preferred.
  • Possession of an IICL certification is a benefit.
  • Proficient at Microsoft Office and Excel.
  • Aptitude to learn proprietary repair approval technology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate company policy and procedures.
  • Ability to identify problems and seek solutions.
  • Ability to be flexible and independently efficient to meet daily requirements.
  • Ability to work with internal and external customers.
  • Ability to travel on a weekly and/or as needed basis.
