WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT

  • Provide administrative support including word processing and production of reports
  • Create letters and emails for the transmission of leases and related documents
  • Obtain signatures on documents, transmit documentation, and save files electronically
  • Assist with maintaining lease database in Access and keeping fields up to date and accurate
  • Assist in requesting certificate of insurance
  • Ensure due dates are met by tracking and following-up on various action items
  • Interact directly with landlords (provide and/or request various documents)
  • Assist with maintaining file systems
  • Assist with various projects, including relabeling documents, organizing email and email folders

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS

  • 2+ years of professional experience – preferably supporting a legal or leasing team
  • Real Estate experience preferred
  • Must have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize work, manage multiple responsibilities, and meet short deadlines
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Collaborative attitude who can work with a team or individually
  • Ability to professionally handle confidential and proprietary information
  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel
