WHERE THE POSITION IS LOCATED:

WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:

  • Ensure user stories are understood and any requirement gaps identified.
  • Ensure quality of application delivery by designing and executing manual test scripts to exercise and validate functional changes as well as perform regression of existing functionality.
  • Maintain current release test suite and augment existing regression test suite.
  • Direct overall QA strategy and ensure partner automation and performance test teams are in alignment as well as other QA testers.
  • Provide transparency on application quality to leadership prior to deployment.
  • Work with business analysts and identify requirements gaps and areas requiring clarification.
  • Work with developers to understand how to test functionality, capture test scenario evidence and explain identified bugs.
  • Design test scripts and perform manual testing of application.
  • Provide clarification and direction to automation and performance test teams.
  • Support continuous integration process improvement and innovation.

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:

  • Experience testing .NET Web Applications.
  • Experience working in an Agile Methodology.
  • Familiarity with HP ALM and Microsoft TFS.
  • Experience with both manual and automated testing.
  • Ability to write and execute SQL scripts to facilitate validation.
