WHERE THE POSITION IS LOCATED:

WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:

  • This role will administer Atlassian Suite (JIRA, Confluence) framework and infrastructure, related plugins, and extensions. Individual in this role works closely with Agile CoP to oversee change control over complex codebase.
  • Manage updates and enhancements to defined release packages and effectively lead the Agile (SAFe) practices and mentor organization to achieve maturity in adopting agile practices using SAFe Framework and JIRA
  • Ensure availability of the products and continuously monitor, maintain and optimize performance of Atlassian tool
  • Work closely with vendor in addressing any major upgrades, plug-ins and critical tickets
  • Assist other teams with required modifications to permissions, workflows and add-ons
  • Manage outage notifications and represent upcoming changes at CAB
  • Manage invoices and requests for Atlassian licenses
  • Work with teams across the organization to troubleshoot Atlassian-related issues

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:

  • Adequate hands on working experience with Atlassian Suite (JIRA, Confluence) and as Groovy Developer
  • Expert level Scrum\Kanban related experience
  • Prior working experience with JIRA, specifically around customizing workflows, fields, screens, permissions, notifications and issue type schemes
  • SAFe certified RTE
  • Prior experience/knowledge of Agile related field or equivalent experience
  • Experience with Service Now (ticket queue management, change control, JSD integration)
  • Experience with creating JIRA Plugin
  • Excellent communicator who can work with and influence all functions and levels.
