WHERE THIS POSITION IS LOCATED:

  • Painted Post, NY

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Assemble project team, assign individual responsibilities, identify appropriate resources needed, and develop schedule to ensure timely completion of project and meeting deadlines of project
  • Develop project scope and objectives, as well as the role and function of each team member in order to effectively coordinate the activities of the team
  • Apply extensive technical expertise, and has full knowledge of other related disciplines
  • Develop technical solutions to highly complex problems, which require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity
  • Exercise considerable latitude in determining technical objectives of assignment
  • Guide the successful completion of major programs and may function in a project leadership role
  • Cross-functional team responsibility on complex components or complex projects
  • Provide guidance or direction to others
  • Represent the organization as the prime technical contact on contracts and projects
  • Interact with senior external personnel on significant technical matters often requiring coordination between organizations

HOW YOU ARE QUALIFIED:

  • Minimum of 2 year Associate’s degree
  • 10+ years of project manager experience  
  • In-depth understanding of many skills and their applications/interactions or very in-depth or broad understanding of two or more skill areas
  • Ability to work without appreciable direction
