WHERE THIS POSITION IS LOCATED:

  • Corning, NY

WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:

  • Responsible for assisting the project/program manager on large engagements and handle smaller projects independently. This includes understanding project goals, deadlines, priorities, resource administration, technical writing, customer outreach, business engagement, and assistance in preparing presentations and general coordination/administrative tasks, which may include some meeting scheduling.
  • The project administrator reports to the Manager of Computer Science and Cognitive Computing Research and have matrixed reporting to the project/program managers for each project assigned.

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:

  • Bachelor's degree required and 5 years of project coordination experience preferred.
  • Advanced computer skills - Word / Excel / PowerPoint / Project / Visio
  • Previous experience working in data management and software development areas
  • Changepoint experience a plus. Assumptions: Local Resource; Track to project Resource Plan
  • Excellent organizational skills
