  • Wireless network planning, management, design, deployment, and configuration across company sites. The successful candidate will work on wireless infrastructure projects in collaboration with business partners and IT operations and engineering teams to deploy, optimize, and maintain wireless/network systems.


  • BS in Computer Science /Systems Management/IT Related field
  • CCNA-Wireless or CWNA certification
  • 5+ years of experience in LAN and Wireless LAN implementation, troubleshooting and design.
  • Core routing and switching design, configuration, and troubleshooting
  • Strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware
  • Strong experience supporting, configuring, and deploying solutions based on Cisco wireless products including lightweight access points and wireless LAN controllers
  • Experience taking wireless site surveys & planning RF coverage and deployments using tools like Fluke / NetScout AirMagnet, Ekahau, or iBwave Wi-Fi
  • Experience installing, configuring, and managing network access control - Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) or Cisco Access Control System (ACS)
  • Experience with Cisco Prime Infrastructure or Cisco Prime LMS
  • Knowledge of authentication protocols, including TACAS/RADIUS/802.1x
  • Packet capture and analysis using tools such as Wireshark or OmniPeek
  • Wireless captive portals and guest / visitor wireless systems
  • Experience troubleshooting RF environment and wireless client performance issues
  • Configuration and installation of LAN electronics: network routers and switches.
  • Basic experience using an IP Address Management (IPAM) system, such as Infoblox, QIP, etc.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical designs
  • Ability to manage all technical aspects of complex projects, including requirements gathering, estimation, creation of high- & low-level designs, development of bill of materials (BOMs), configuration, deployment, and initial warranty support

Desired Skills/Experience

  • Professional- or expert-level network or wireless certifications from Cisco, CWNP, or other organizations, such as CCNP-Wireless, CCIE-Wireless, CWSP, CWAP, CWDP, CWNE
  • Experience deploying multicast wireless video & voice services in a corporate environment, including AirPlay, Apple TV, Chromecast, Miracast, etc.
  • Cisco Mobility Services Engine (MSE) or Connected Mobile Experience (CMX)
  • Wireless spectrum analysis utilizing tools like Fluke / NetScout AirMagnet Spectrum or similar product
  • Enterprise network monitoring tools such as Splunk, SolarWinds, HP NNMI, SMARTS, etc.
