  • 2+ years of experience focused on IT communications in medium to large corporate environments
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications or other relevant field
  • Strong organization skills; experience tracking project progression.
  • Superb writing and editing skills, with a strong sense of narrative and story-telling.
  • Experience in IT and systems communications and change management.
  • Working effectively and building strong working relationships with subject matter experts and communications contacts around the world.
  • A high level of professional integrity and the ability to interact with a technical client
  • The ability to simultaneously manage multiple responsibilities and deliver high quality communications under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent PowerPoint skills and the ability to summarize complex issues into consumable messages

  • Manage IT communications planning and implementation efforts including supporting the day-to-day IT operations communications needs.
  • Collaborate with Internal Communications to align messaging and leverage the Intranet.
  • Distribute and manage communications using the Populo (Newsweaver) internal communications platform. Manage distribution lists, monitor message cadence; finalize, format and distribute messages. Report on analytics and propose ways to improve click-through rates.
  • Identify, draft and distribute/post content for multi-platform vehicles, including the intranet, newsletters, videos, e-mail announcements, Town Hall toolkits, leader webcasts/podcasts, blogs and other forms of internal social media supporting information and change management needs related to IT transition.  
  • Play a key role in obtaining transition-related IT information from global technology workstreams. Traffic manage inputs and outputs from around the world. Draft materials and follow through to approval. Leverage design and digital team partners to layout and post content. Report on completion status and barriers.
  • Assist Interim CIO and IT leadership team from a communications perspective.
  • Contribute to internal communications priorities as defined.
