WHERE THIS POSITION IS LOCATED:

  • Painted Post, NY

WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:

  • Work independently with customers and business analysts to understand and document requirements and turn them into solutions within our content management environments
  • Take existing sites or solutions and understand and evaluate change requests to the site
  • Create estimates based on customer conversations and requirements for solution changes
  • Provide third level operational support within content management environments as needed
  • Monitor and Maintain Global Enterprise content management platforms to include but not limited to SharePoint, Box, Opentext
  • Identify, develop and document operational processes while continuously looking at how to improve upon existing process, innovation
  • Implement and maintain Enterprise and Solution architecture plans and recommendations
  • On Call Rotation not expected but possible
  • Engage and communicate with cross functional teams
  • Troubleshoot to root cause and provide viable solutions

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
  • 2-3 years’ experience in Operations for Web/Collaboration/Content Management platforms (SharePoint)
  • Proven Knowledge of SAAS/Web Based solutions including, Access, Permissions Management, client tools interaction
  • Strong communication and documentation skills; and enjoys working in a team environment
  • Must be able to exhibit tact and diplomacy and maintain professional relationships with supervisors, fellow employees, customers, etc
  • Ability to adapt to technology change while ensuring customer expectations regarding stability and operational excellence are met
  • Strong understanding of Sharepoint and its technologies
  • Strategic Thinker
