WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:

  • Provide front-line technical support for portfolio management and trading systems
  • Work with clients, subject matter experts and other technology staff to resolve issues in a timely fashion
  • Provide general support for the day-to-day activities of the global investment staff, and work to establish best practices for support.
  • Document, track, and research production issues and work with appropriate teams to identify appropriate resolution.
  • Works within global support team to enhance support processes, policies, and procedures as well as partners extensively with IT Service Management team.
  • Ensures user feedback is communicated back to product development teams to improve the current state of investment systems.

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:

  • B.A. /B.S. Degree Required
  • 4+ years’ experience with investment trading systems and/or custom investment applications within financial services industry
  • Prior experience with systems such as Charles River Investment Management, Aladdin, Macgregor, or similar
  • MS SQL Experience and ETL tools experience required
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Proven ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across teams, functions & departments
  • Working knowledge of Portfolio Accounting, Fund Accounting experience
