WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:

  • Seeking a Senior Representative to assist with the Onboarding process for our Employee Service Center (ESC) department within HR Operations. Responsible for assisting with the day to day execution of the onboarding, criminal background check and drug screen processes
  • Responsible for ensuring timely processing of candidates through our third party administered onboarding system and will support the process used to make determinations of candidate eligibility for employment in compliance with applicable federal, state and local law as well as company specific background check and drug screen policies. Candidate eligibility is determined by interpreting data from our third-party providers for background checks and drug screens and applying that data against company guidelines and standards.
  • Provides excellent customer responsiveness to calls/communications received from Human Resources (HR), HR Center of Excellence (COE) staff and employees.
  • Demonstrates the highest degree of accuracy, courtesy and professionalism to resolve customer issues with one call resolution; subjects include but not limited to: Leave of Absence, Workers Compensation, Benefits Plan options, Benefits eligibility, Enrollment, Performance Review cycles, Courtesy Accounts support, Onboarding administration including background checks, and routine HR questions.
  • Updates the case management system with call/transaction specific information and supporting documentation.
  • Achieves and maintains expertise to navigate and accurately record information with several business systems/applications including HR data (PeopleSoft), applicant tracking system (BrassRing), case management tracking (HR Helpdesk), vendor websites etc.

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required. BA/BS degree in Human Resources preferred
  • Post High School training in Human Resources or related field or equivalent work experience. Working knowledge of HRMS database systems
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of information and knowledge of local, state and federal laws regarding Employment
  • Ability to prioritize and organize effectively and multitask; demonstrated ability to work under very minimal supervision
  • Ability to use personal computer and strong knowledge of software applications including but not limited to MS Office
  • Ability to communicate in a clear concise manner
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
