WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT

  • In-depth knowledge of end-to-end HR and Hire-To-Retire processes within the scope of a global Shared Service space
  • Collaborates with Operations and appropriate Functional Groups to understand needs & trends and propose appropriate solutions
  • Support project prioritization needed to achieve targeted corporate and / or Ops objectives
  • Support budgeting process for strategy / projects and assist Operations in budget development as it relates to targeted efficiency gains
  • Collaborates with Operations in establishing KPIs and complementary plans to achieve targets
  • Monitors Operation’s KPIs and vendor SLA performance collaborating on process improvement plans as needed
  • Understand the policies & procedures that govern their areas of responsibility
  • Assists Operations in achieving & maintaining compliance with policies, procedures, standards and statutory laws; (including support to address / resolve audit findings)
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with SMEs (internal and external) who can provide guidance and expertise on supported systems’ regulatory compliance status
  • Monitor industry’s best practices, standards, laws & trends and incorporates these into strategic planning
  • Leads the effort to develop/write project charters; working collaboratively with key contributors to define critical aspects of the charter, including budget, deliverables, timelines, etc.

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or related degree
  • 5+ years of payroll related experience including strategy, operations, and compliance in a Shared Service Center environment
  • Financial acumen and analysis
  • Deep knowledge of functional processes for automated time & attendance and payroll
  • Global operations support
  • Deep knowledge of Kronos, SuccessFactors / SAP, ADP GlobalView & Streamline applications
  • M&A or process integration experience desired
