WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Develop, lead and execute regional or global supply strategies in coordination with key functional stakeholders, package owners and regional procurement staff within a variety of Indirect categories that may include HR, legal, financial services, marketing, fleet, consulting, contingent labor, travel and entertainment, capital and or certain industrial services and supplies.  
  • Implement global sourcing strategies and negotiate contracts
  • Manage supplier performance and evaluate cost saving opportunities as it pertains to capital improvements and issue resolution
  • Drive operational efficiency improvements through the onboarding of suppliers to the preferred P2P (Ariba) portal, consolidated billing processes etc.
  • Develop complex, cross-functional processes and manage existing contracts
  • Responsible for risk mitigation and performance metrics
  • Serve as a mentor to junior managers
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies and regulations
  • Some travel both domestic and international

HOW YOU ARE QUALIFIED:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Administration or related field of study.
  • MBA or Master’s Science, highly desirable
  • 6 years’ experience in Global Procurement, Supply Chain or another technical position
  • 5+ years’ experience with strategic sourcing methodologies, structured indirect contract negotiations and supplier performance management
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience managing indirect professional and or industrial spend preferred.
  • Experience with ERP systems.  SAP and Ariba preferred.
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills including PowerPoint and Excel.
