  • Hire, supervise, mentor and evaluate managers and team members (including, but not limited to: Operations Manager, Membership Outreach Coordinator, Customer Experience Coordinator, Administrative Assistants, Registered Dietitian)
  • Develop site as a Center of Excellence, with multiple Subject Matter Experts
  • Foster and manage quality relationships with client and site members/participants
  • Drive, track and report on key metrics regularly
  • Drive integration between key departments/partners and wellness programming as part of global strategy
  • Represent the business performance among leadership and lead the development of new approaches to achieve financial targets, and work with other onsite managers to assure operations align
  • Manage financial budgets with planning, forecasting, and revenue generation
  • Ensure positive relationship and partnership experience with key stakeholders  
  • Develop strategic business plan, and monitor for progress on a monthly basis as a part of annual goals - implement contingency plan should any shortfalls occur
  • Support managers/team members and membership by responding to emergent program and member requests, team member needs, scheduling and acting as marketing liaison for all fitness & wellness programs
  • Ensure consistent exceptional customer service/experience and customer responsiveness
  • Understand and be committed to the mission and vision of the program
  • Be knowledgeable about the client, their existing well-being programs, and seek ways to connect employees to available resources offered by our client company
  • Act as "The Mayor" by greeting members, cultivating relationships, and encouraging connectivity


Required Qualifications: 

  • Minimum of 5 years of General Manager Experience within the fitness industry.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or Health Related Industry.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrate professionalism and integrity throughout your career
  • Start-up experience     
  • Successful track record managing sales, operations, group programming and customer service
  • Excellent communication-both written and oral, leadership, interpersonal and supervisory
  • Prefer experience/success in increasing programming participation in both for profit
    and not for profit environments
  • Ability to anticipate and solve practical problems or resolve issues
  • Highly skilled in Google Docs, as well as proven ability to work with different CRM systems
  • Outgoing personality, team builder, exceptional leadership characteristics
