WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:

  • Provides support for the company's financial reporting, analysis and planning activities for assigned markets/product lines.
  • Develop understanding of marketplace and product lines to effectively produce financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting.
  • Creation and design of informative financial reports/analysis through the collection, organization, and validation of data from various sources using spreadsheet, database, and customer relationship management software.
  • Identification and communication of material changes in trends or deviations from targets that require management attention/action.
  • Preparation, consolidation and validation of materials used for management review of monthly financial results.
  • Procedural/administrative support and participation in the monthly and annual budget/forecasting process. Monitor ongoing inputs for completeness/accuracy/validity and create various in-process/ad hoc analyses based on management requests.
  • Analyze and review pricing, market value and reimbursement profit

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or other business administration; targeting recent grad or 1-2 years of experience
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Must be able to work independently, self-starter and disciplined
  • High level of analytical ability, including strong PC skills and advanced Microsoft Excel and other data-oriented software programs.
