WHERE THIS POSITION IS LOCATED:

  • Frisco, TX

WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:

  • Execute monthly processes, data uploads, validation, and rationalization of data from systems of record such as General Ledger, Portfolio Management, ServiceNow, etc.
  • Maintain internal reports and recommend reporting improvements to meet the needs of the IT leadership.
  • Identify, create, and refine IT cost allocation models and documentation.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders on IT Total Cost of Ownership, financial metrics, and cost transparency initiatives.
  • Lead initiatives for model changes, upgrades and validation including data and reporting adjustments/enhancements as the discipline matures.
  • Provide financial and operational data analysis, variance analysis, and trending.
  • Analyze trends and cost drivers and highlight risks and opportunities.
  • Support the Annual Planning and Quarterly Forecasting process.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or related experience in a quantitative discipline (Business Administration, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Information Analysis, Computer Science, or related field).
  • Five (5) years of experience in the field of financial planning/analysis, systems analysis, data analysis.
  • Strong technical and financial acumen, data analytics and report development.
  • Advanced level skill in Microsoft Excel.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Able to work and interpret large data sets, formulate conclusions, and provide summary analysis.
  • Excels in developing good working relationships and effectively collaborates with teams across the enterprise.
  • Apptio and/or TBM knowledge/experience strongly preferred
