WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:

  • Oversee operational and financial functions including support of manufacturing operations, systems evaluation and implementations, subsidiary structure and formation, tax regulation and compliance, contract law, transfer pricing agreements and corporate projects. 
  • Guide the research, development, revision and implementation of policies and procedures across the organization 
  • Oversee the corporate purchasing cycle process and systems
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing and Engineering on such areas as inventory controls, costing and margins
  • Ensure awareness of political or global initiatives that may affect the company’s operations and take necessary actions

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:

  • Bachelors in Accounting or Finance, MBA preferred
  • Certified Public Accountant preferred
  • 4+ years of public accounting experience
  • Global knowledge preferably with a manufacturing background
  • Systems implementation experience
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret and understand laws and regulations, identifying requirements and related controls
