WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT

  • Responsible for advanced welding (Stick, Mig, and TIG)
  • Makes repairs to all plant equipment without supervision
  • Make all electrical repairs without supervision
  • Expected to perform daily shop inspections and preventative maintenance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Support machinery and facility maintenance activities.

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS

  • Ability to read, write and do advanced mathematics (read and modify mechanical blueprints, sketches, and electrical schematic diagrams as required)
  • Requires advanced technical training in industrial electricity, electrical controls, process instrumentation, PLC programming, robotics programming and troubleshooting.
  • Must have 5+ years previous electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, piping, and welding experience
  • Requires adequate fabrication/millwright/mechanical hand tools.
