WHERE THIS POSITION IS LOCATED:

  • Corning, NY

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Responsible for ensuring personal safety
  • Complete all required safety training and comply with all safety requirements
  • Participate and support the department’s safety initiatives
  • Receive and model accurate record drawings and continue to build the campus within Revit
  • Support and model minor projects
  • Help to write BIM implementation plans
  • Coordinate with engineers on project drawing requirements
  • Maintain document integrity
  • Other document control tasks not specified above, as assigned by supervisor
  • Coordinate design drawings and models with Engineers and Project Manager (PMs)
  • Manage and update record model drawings
  • Work with vendors and suppliers in support of customer satisfaction
  • Adhere project turnover and closeout processes
  • Support the development and maintenance of design standards
  • Drive closure of open action items involving document development and publication
  • Coordinate with Engineers to create guidelines and protocols for SCRs
  • Travel to conferences or customers as approved by supervisor
  • Prioritize work to meet completion dates considering both unexpected and planned needs

HOW ARE YOU QUALIFIED:

  • Associate’s degree required
  • 3+ years of experience with Revit and BIM
  • Revit based skill sets and Building Information Management (BIM) knowledge required
  • Ability to read system drawings (schematics) and architectural drawings
  • Competency with MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel & Visio)
  • Skilled with share drive, SharePoint and information databases
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and complete multiple tasks
  • Demonstrated history of providing sound judgment and decision making
  • Work cross functionally
  • Preparation of training materials for presentation and documentation purposes
  • Ability to demonstrate and train others in system documentation
  • Understanding of DARM requirements
