  • Leadership of a multi-faceted sales, revenue generation, business development and merchandise department.
  • Develop and lead senior level managers in all areas of their jobs with a key focus on leadership and managerial skills development and execution of sales, revenue generation, business development and retail merchandising strategies.
  • In conjunction with his/her team members, develops strategies and provides support and direction for tactical activities that maximizes revenue generation
  • Oversees the revenue generation and business development departments of the through subordinate managers to ensure all activities are coordinated and appropriately integrated.
  • Leads the development of revenue goals working with subordinate managers and other departments, communicates those expectations to all staff and provides on-going review and oversight. 
  • Leads the ideation of new and/or enhanced revenue opportunities and works collaborative with departments to develop and execute those strategies.
  • Monitors current programs and maximizes revenue growth in balance with maximizing the customer experience. 
  • Creates and monitors departmental budgets on an ongoing basis.  
  • Ensures a collaborative environment and approach is established and maintained within the department and throughout the company to maximize various perspectives and customer segment needs. 
  • Assists with developing the strategic direction 
  • Leads effort, working collaboratively with Research Dept., to develop comprehensive and compelling research of patrons, partnership needs and assets to match sales and marketing objectives of current and prospective opportunities.   
  • Job will require 10-15% overnight travel at various times of the year


  • Demonstrated ability to effectively develop sales strategies, lead teams, develop and lead senior level managers, manage multiple priorities and projects and meet deadlines
  • Bachelors degree, preferably with a major in Business Administration or Marketing
  • Minimum of 8 years of direct sales or business development related experience and demonstrated successful sales leadership experience with quantifiable results.
  • Strong scope and issues management skills are essential for success within this role
