WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Administrate and maintain Personnel Records
  • Update and maintain payroll record data accurately and efficiently
  • Oversee resolution and issuance of payroll discrepancies, liabilities, calculations and information queries by paychecks/cards and EFTS in a timely manner
  • Effectively optimize improvements for process as well as capital and operational savings
  • Support external auditors including, but not limited to, SEC reporting and SOX 404 monitoring
  • Oversee internal and external Payroll audits
  • Prepare external and financial reports to support management
  • Coordination of month-end closing activities
  • Review/Approve AP-related accounts general ledger analysis and/or reconciliations
  • Maintain US GAAP compliance standards with all financial treatment on accounts payable entries
  • Guide and lead HRIS functions for the company, including data extraction, system design, and maintenance upgrades
  • Work directly with Unemployment Claims Administrator to optimize UI rates
  • Implement and maintain appropriate accounting policies and procedures
  • Monitor/Measure performance based off of SLAs and targets
  • Monitor workflow performance to maximize efficiency
  • Monitor and document current processes to be available for reference
  • Analyze and troubleshoot system failures, enhancements, and software upgrades
  • Negotiate contracts and collaborate with vendors to provide the most efficient practices
  • Preserve the integrity of the financial information and internal controls while helping plan the Company’s strategic path
  • Able to provide skills development, mentoring, and support to staff
  • Non-specified projects and duties assigned in response to changing requirements and/or conditions

HOW YOU ARE QUALIFIED:

  • Required five years of payroll management and seven years of payroll experience in a medium/large company across several locations
  • Required experience with Oracle Cloud HCM, PeopleSoft and/or Fusion systems
  • Required experience with all Microsoft Office programs
  • Required experience with multi-state and company Payroll concepts/modeling/taxes
  • Required knowledge/experience with accounting principals and external vendors
  • Must be able to demonstrate a high quality work ethic, extreme confidentiality, excellent written/verbal communication and internal/external relationship building
  • Preferred Bachelor's Degree
