WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Directs the development, implementation and coordination of policies and programs covering the following:  employment, wage and salary management, incentive compensation, organization development, indoctrination and training, benefits and employee services.  Originates human resource policies and practices which will provide a balanced program throughout all locations of the organization. 
  • Serves as a member of Executive Staff and 40lk Committee as well as a compliment to the Director of Finance
  • Support business operations activities such as consultant agreements, property negotiations, handles signature rights and affirmative actions
  • Develops human resources policies and procedures and directs the interpretation and implementation of these policies.
  • Protects interests of Employees in accordance with the organization's human resources policies and appropriate governmental laws and regulations such as OSHA, ERISA, HIPAA, EEOC.
  • Conducts a continuing study of all human resources policies, programs, and practices to keep the organization abreast of current practice and informed of new developments.
  • Maintains overall supervision of the organization's recruitment, training, payroll and benefits programs to ensures compliance with laws and regulations. 
  • Administers wage and salary policies and structures, and performance appraisal programs.  Assures the organization's compensation program is competitive and equitable and aligned with the organization's compensation philosophy. 
  • Directs and maintains various activities designed to promote and maintain a high level of Employee morale.
  • Serves as employee relations liaison and advises managers on employee relations matters. Conducts investigations and recommends resolutions as appropriate.
  • Participates in negotiations for, and serves as an administrator of, employee benefits and risk management programs.
  • Prepares and maintains reports that are necessary to carry out functions of the department (i.e. wage and benefits budget, turnover analysis, benefits audits). 
  • Coordinates work and travel Visa applications and extensions.

HOW YOU ARE QUALIFIED:

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university in Business Management (Human Resources emphasis preferred)
  • 7 years of HR and operations experience
  • SPHR or SHRM-SCP certification required
  • Manufacturing experience preferred
