WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Responsible for working with Plant Managers and business leaders across North America and Europe to collaboratively develop and coordinate the enterprise TPM and RCM programs to deliver reliable and cost effective asset performance.
  • The Director will work with Site Reliability leaders to develop standard methods to maintain the company’s assets and to develop strategies that improve operating efficiencies, labor effectiveness, employee engagement and technical development of personnel.
  • Lead the evolution of operator based maintenance, rapid change-overs, predictive and preventive maintenance, MRO optimization and the development of KPIs and measures to achieve world class benchmarks and lower operating costs.
  • Develop and coordinate the enterprise TPM and RCM programs
  • Develop standard methods to maintain the company’s assets
  • Lead the evolution of operator based maintenance, autonomous maintenance, rapid change-overs, predictive and preventive maintenance, and MRO optimization
  • Develop process improvement strategies that will enable step changes in asset performance and improved ROIC
  • Work collaboratively with engineering, pulp and paper and OEM suppliers to realize global synergies and leverage our integrated scale

 HOW YOU ARE QUALIFIED:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration or related fields – with engineering strongly
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience with at least three years of leading enterprise wide maintenance initiatives
  • Experience in a multi-site manufacturing environment leading TPM or RCM initiatives.
  • Experience with implementation of Lean Manufacturing processes
  • MS Office Suite Tools including Access Database Administration, Excel and MS Project
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Strong business analytics and project management skills Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional(CMRP) – preferred
  • Ability to travel 50-75% of the time, accommodating significant fluctuations in such requirements
