WHERE THIS POSITION IS LOCATED:

  • Nashville TN area

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Director of IT PMO & BA will be responsible for framing and structuring complex initiatives, prioritizing and steering all projects within the IT Portfolio
  • The will be driving PMO process, policy, and hiring, directing program and project management staff.
  • This person will oversee global strategic projects from initiation to completion while providing leadership to the Business Analysts, Program and Project Managers.
  • This is a highly visible role interfacing with senior executives across the organization, driving strategy to optimize delivery of the global IT portfolio.
  • This position plays a critical role in planning and executing continuous improvement and overall strategic planning relating to technology.
  • The Director will have a proven track record in capturing and driving business requirements, project and program delivery, project prioritization, pipeline management and cultivating vendor relationships.
  • This position will be accountable for the delivery of the entire IT program portfolio.
  • Ensure all programs, projects, and work streams are well defined, planned, and resourced to deliver per schedule of the overall program timeline.
  • Drive a culture of urgency, on-time, on-budget and in-scope project delivery
  • Provide regular visibility to project status (key decisions, dependencies, issues, risks, metrics) on a standard cadence through status reporting and program / workstream reviews
  • Establish and monitor value metrics to inform decisions that maximize returns across enterprise projects and programs. Drive business value across all program activities
  • Provide oversight and audit accountability for all SOX, Compliance, and security requirements across the portfolio.
  • Support project audits to ensure compliance and accuracy of the established controls
  • Develop surge resource strategy and metrics. Manage vendors to achieve a high level of performance through fact-based performance metrics
  • Improve and maintain an effective communications plan to ensure frequent, accurate, and timely communication to all stakeholders and to solidify commitment to the strategic roadmap

HOW YOU ARE QUALIFIED:

  • Proven ability to frame and structure problems, projects, and initiatives, and synthesize complex information from a multitude of resources into an achievable and actionable plan for the organization
  • Demonstrated experience with strategic and operational planning, resource allocation, leadership technique, and coordination of people and resources
  • Ability to effectively interface with technical (IT) groups as well as business teams and executives, both in person and remotely
  • Strong can-do attitude and a high degree of tenacity and drive. High energy, ability to prioritize, desires to work in a results-oriented fast growth environment. Self-starter
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in engineering or technology
  • Minimum 7 - 10 years professional experience in the field or in a related area managing projects or programs
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience leading people and developing talent
