WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT

  • You will be responsible for managing full accounting functions including the month and year-end close, financial statement preparation, internal and external reporting, technical accounting and internal controls
  • Your critical thinking and analytical will be utilized to research accounting issues as they arise including such things as revenue recognition, compensation, taxes, etc.
  • You will work closely with various finance teams to evaluate regional plant performance and provide reporting as needed
  • Your expertise will be called on to help continuously identify areas of opportunity for process improvement to impact the accounting team and the company overall
  • You will regularly prepare and present reports for upper management and the Board of Directors

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 7+ years of accounting experience including managerial responsibility with a preference for Big 4 experience
  • Advanced knowledge of US GAAP and the ability to maintain internal control compliance
  • Experience with OneStream or other ERP's preferred
